Fiona Young Napangaka

Fiona is the daughter of famous aboriginal artist Tjawina Porter Nampitjinpa, she was taught to paint by her mother and follow in her footsteps with her dreaming’s that was passed onto her by her Mother and Father.
Her paintings represent the main areas of significance for her family. These sites are places for ceremonies and the area to source water and vital bush foods. She paints looking down on her country the rockholes at Yumari, Tjukurla, Punkilpirri and Tjalili and their travels between these rockholes.
